The Alp Trainer 2 is a progressive hiking shoe with a mid-height shaft, made from robust, high-quality suede and stretch upper material, as well as a waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX Extended Comfort lining that reliably protects you on various terrains and in changing conditions. A generous rubber rand provides additional protection against rock edges and debris.

Adaptable and Comfortable
The shoe offers a precise fit, securely enveloping your foot, providing support, and is comfortable right from the first wear. Our proprietary, patented 3F System includes a steel cable that ensures a firm hold around the ankle and lateral stability, while the Flex Collar allows for more backward movement of the ankle, enhancing comfort during descents. Additionally, you can choose between different insoles with the adjustable SALEWA Multi Fit Footbed Plus (MFF+), allowing you to customize the shoe volume to your needs. The climbing shoe lacing system also enables individual tightening all the way to the toes for better performance on technical terrain.

Improved Grip and Traction
The optimized Vibram Alpine Hiking outsole, exclusively offered by SALEWA, enhances performance and control on a wide range of mountain terrains. Its special climbing, grip, and braking zones, along with an aggressive stud design, excel even in wet and muddy conditions.
