This snug-fitting hybrid insulation jacket is a favorite of our athlete team. It features durable Durastretch inserts on the sleeves and sides that have proven themselves in alpine use, yet it feels soft and comfortable.

Children often complain that one moment they are too cold and the next too hot. Intense physical activity followed by rest periods can increase the risk of hypothermia. Our thermoregulating Ortles Hybrid Jacket is designed to meet the specific insulation needs of the upper body that children have during high-energy activities on colder days.

The lightweight TirolWool® Responsive insulation combines innovative polyester fibers enriched with thermoreactive minerals with wool from Tyrolean sheep. The heat emitted by the body is absorbed and converted into infrared energy, which is stored and reflected back – keeping you warmer for longer. Additionally, TirolWool® Responsive is water-repellent, breathable, and keeps children warm even when their jacket is soaking wet.

The jacket has two zippered pockets on the sides and a zippered chest pocket. The insulated hood provides extra protection for the child, and the PFC-free DWR coating makes the jacket particularly weather-resistant.
