The Shimano XT brake disc with the manufacturer designation SM-RT76 does not feature ICE-Tech, but otherwise offers the same qualities as, for example, the SM-RT86 brake disc. The aluminum carrier dissipates heat from braking processes better than one-piece brake discs, as aluminum has better thermal conductivity. Additionally, aluminum as a carrier is less susceptible to deformation and effectively prevents vibrations during braking maneuvers. The SM-RT76 is equipped with the 6-bolt mounting standard and is ideally suited for Shimano XT disc brakes.
