Shimano's advanced brake levers with Saint ICE Technologies feature shorter, more ergonomic grips that allow for tool-free adjustment and an adjustable bite point for ultra-customized fitting. The disc brake system includes a caliper with opposing dual pistons, where the front pistons have a different diameter than the rear ones. This system employs a force transfer technique in which the smaller pistons grip the incoming disc while the stronger, larger pistons grip the outgoing disc. This reduces brake disc wobble and makes the brake significantly quieter. The four-piston caliper increases the contact area with the brake disc while keeping its size compact. The positioning of the pads is precisely tuned to stabilize pressure. Additionally, when combined with the SERVO WAVE brake lever, it achieves an incredible 50% more braking power than the previous model. The advanced SAINT/ZEE disc brake system can be tailored to the rider's braking habits, providing smooth, highly controllable braking power. Note: Brake disc not included.
