The SLX FC-M7100-1 crank is completely redesigned and features direct-mount chainrings with special tooth profiles for better chain grip and a Q-factor of 172 mm. Shimano Dynamic Chain Engagement is a special tooth profile for single chainrings used in XC, enduro, and trail applications. It improves chain retention and guidance, facilitating pedaling even in rough terrain. The improved chain guide in each gear reduces abrasion and wear.
