A single chainring paired with a cassette that has an extended gear range is an exceptionally streamlined solution to benefit from multiple disciplines, and we remain leaders in 1x technology. Our Apex 1 Wide crankset features aluminum cranks, a lightweight and stiff DUB axle, as well as sleek and reliable X-SYNC Direct-Mount chainrings that provide perfect chain management. The widened chainline is suitable for wide tires for all types of adventures.

The single chainring drive simplifies the operation of the system and reduces the weight of the assembly. The crankset is designed for a widened chainline and is suitable for very wide gravel tires. The longer DUB axle fits the width standards of bottom bracket shells for both road bikes and mountain bikes, ensuring unparalleled compatibility between different brands. Compatible with rear hub spacing of 135 mm, 142 mm, or Boost. The SRAM X-SYNC technology with alternating wide and narrow teeth ensures optimal chain retention on the chainring. The DUB bottom bracket shell offers simplicity and durability.
