The Terrapin System is a modular seat pack with a removable dry bag that allows for easy packing from the bike. Nearly a decade after its initial design, this generation of Terrapin has seen improvements in stability, user-friendliness, and durability. The Indie-Rail system is an evolution of traditional bike bag attachments, where the rail straps are secured at the top center of the bag. With Indie-Rail, each saddle rail is firmly strapped to the sides of the bag. This effectively eliminates lateral sway of the bag without the need for external hardware. It is combined with a rigid internal structure and active cam buckles to prevent strap slippage on uneven terrain. The Terrapin features an external plastic bottom that acts as a fender, protecting the base of the pack from kicked-up debris. The reinforced inner top plate made of composite material provides a solid and stable platform for the strap points and transfers vertical load to the connection with the seat post. An external strap and loop system houses a bungee cord and offers additional easily accessible storage. more
