Question about Thule Pack 'n Pedal Tour Rack XT

Does anyone have any feedback on this rack mounted and ridden on a MTB frame with carbon seatstays? I haven't found any contraindication, neither from the user nor from the manufacturer (unlike Topeak for its similar model), but it still doesn't inspire confidence to radially tighten a carbon tube. My bike has fairly wide non-flexible seatstays though (Santa Cruz Tallboy). But it would be in the idea to do trail-rando, like swissmobile alpine routes, without lighting up the descent either. It's hard to get an idea. And it doesn't make you want to crack your rear triangle when you try it with a bowl...

I had it mounted on my Flyer Uproc 4 6.30 alu. It can work if you ride on tarmac, but on uneven ground (vibrations etc.) it's not the absolute best, indeed the clamps slip and the whole thing moves. It's a few millimetres and it rubs against the tyre. I have dismantled mine ... I put it on sale with the side bags.
