This is actually unusual, as the small collet with its gripper is directly parallel to the 1st rail. I have already secured various e-bikes and SPedelecs there. However, I have had to move the small clamp along the frame in order to centre the bike on the carrier and to reach a part of the e-bike frame where the clamp can securely fix the e-bike.
