According to test reports (do a quick google, e.g. autobild.de), the seat is attached to the frame. Since I am also looking for such a seat, I also have this model in mind. I hope it's the 2020 model, because previously Britax Römer Jockey3 Comfort had the problem that the straps could easily be opened. That should be fixed now.
