The 3M heat-shrink repair sleeves HDCW are designed for the quick and secure repair of damaged cable jackets for low and medium voltage cables. The inside is coated with a hot-melt adhesive, providing a waterproof seal on all plastic and metal jackets. An outer coating with temperature indicator paint on the sleeve signals the end of the shrinking process through a color change. A stainless steel rail serves as a closure and can be removed after the sleeve cools down. The repair sleeve is made of cross-linked polyolefin, making it UV resistant and halogen-free.
