The 3M PVC tape 471 is commonly used for marking hazard areas and walkways, covering during painting tasks, as well as for color markings, decorative strips, and more. This versatile tape, which features a PVC backing with rubber resin, is resistant to scratches, abrasion, and weathering, making it very durable. The 3M PVC tape 471 adheres upon contact to a variety of surfaces, allowing for quick application without dripping, drying, or cleaning. It can be removed cleanly without leaving adhesive residue. This PVC tape is highly adaptable, making it easy to apply on curved surfaces as well as on rough or uneven surfaces.
The tape is available in many different colors and can be used at temperatures ranging from 4.44 °C to 76.66 °C. PVC tapes are used for marking roadways, sidewalks, corridors, and hazard or restricted areas in manufacturing facilities.
