The 3M heat shrink tubing MDT-A is a halogen-free, medium-walled heat shrink tubing made from cross-linked polyolefin with a melt adhesive coating. The melt adhesive penetrates all irregularities and cavities, preventing moisture ingress. The tubing is suitable for insulating plastic and mass cables up to 0.6/1 kV, for both outdoor and underground installation.

The aging-resistant heat shrink tubing is UV resistant and resistant to many chemical influences. It can be used in a temperature range of -55 °C to +130 °C. With its high shrink ratio of 4.5 to 1, large diameter jumps can be accommodated with just one tubing. The 3M heat shrink tubing MDT-A meets technical requirements according to IEC 60684 and is approved by Lloyds Register of Shipping, certificate 95/30032(E5). It is halogen-free and RoHS compliant.
