Residual current devices (RCCBs) provide protection for people and property, as well as protection against electrically ignited fires in accordance with DIN VDE 0100-410 and DIN VDE 0100-530. The residual current circuit breakers of the F200 series ensure protection against sinusoidal alternating currents and pulsating currents with a smooth direct fault current component of up to 6 mA to ground. They offer fault protection (protection against indirect contact) and fire protection (with IΔn ≤ 300 mA). They comply with product standards IEC/EN 61008-1, 61008-2-1, 61543 (VDE 0664 10, 11, 30) and for F200 A up to 100 A UL 1053. Areas of application include household, commercial, and industrial uses. An optimal compromise between safety and operational continuity is achieved thanks to its resistance to unwanted tripping with surge current resistance (surge current waveform 8/20 μs) = 5000 A.
