The circuit breakers of the S 200 U DC series protect cables and wires from overload and short circuits in accordance with DIN VDE 0100-430 and DIN VDE 0100-530. They meet the construction regulations of DIN VDE 0660-101 as well as IEC/EN60947-2 and UL489, as well as CSA 22.2 No. 5. For better visibility during wiring, the connection opening for wires is located above the connection opening for the busbar. Conductor cross-sections of up to 25 mm² can be directly connected to the device via the terminal with insulation in protection class IP20. The combination of approvals according to UL489, CSA 22.2 No. 5, and IEC/EN60947-2 makes this device suitable for worldwide use in high-demand applications, and it undergoes three intensive tests for quality and performance before delivery.
