The testing adapter enables the safety and functional testing of AC charging stations (wallboxes) for electric vehicles using the Benning IT 200/Benning IT 130 installation testing device, in accordance with DIN VDE 0100-600 and DIN VDE 0105-100. It is compatible with 1- and 3-phase charging stations (EVSE) of charging mode 3 with Type 2 connectors.

The adapter allows for safe contact between the installation testing device and the charging station, simulating an electric vehicle with different states.

Rotary switch proximity pilot PP (cable simulation): simulates different current ratings (codings) of the charging cables.
Rotary switch control pilot CP (vehicle simulation): simulates different vehicle states, such as A (not connected), B (connected, not ready), C (charging without ventilation), D (charging with ventilation), and E (short circuit between CP-PE).

Separate phase indicators (L1/L2/L3) via three LEDs as soon as the charging station provides energy. Testing socket and 4 mm sockets (L1/L2/L3/N/PE) for easy connection to the installation testing device. BNC connection for measuring the pulse-width modulated CP signal of the charging station with an oscilloscope. Verification of the EVSE locking system from status B (release of the charging cable is blocked).
