Thanks to E-Drive technology, the GTC1845L20 is extremely powerful. It is equipped with a high-performance motor with a flywheel that stores kinetic energy. The input power is absorbed and accelerated by the electric motor. This reduces the risk of knife blockage and provides sufficient power to cut through very thick or hard branches without problems and with a clean result.

The unique angled tooth geometry of the blades guarantees thorough and reliable cutting performance and allows effortless cutting of branches with thicknesses of up to 18 mm. The specially coated metallic surface keeps the knife sharp longer and is extremely robust. The rubberized blade tip protects the angled blade and, together with the sturdy blade carrier, contributes to the product's durability.

The optimum balance between blade and handle allows for ergonomic and fatigue-free working. The position of the center of gravity is aligned so that the load on arm, shoulder, and back muscles is significantly reduced. The bow handle offers high operating comfort, optimal control, and more safety. The design allows for a variety of grip positions, providing high flexibility when working.

In addition, the GTC1845L20 cordless hedge trimmer has extensive safety features. The two-hand safety circuit prevents the device from being switched on accidentally. In the event of a power interruption or after switching off the hedge trimmer, the blade stops in fractions of a second, thus considerably reducing the risk of injury due to blade run-on. The large hand guard offers protection against flying branches and cuttings.
