Additionally, the extremely robust X-cloth serves as a stable backing, ensuring durability and consistently high performance on challenging surfaces. The full synthetic resin bonding of the abrasive grains to the X-cloth guarantees optimal grinding behavior. It is designed for deburring and preparing welding work on carbon steel, structural steel, aluminum, and other non-ferrous metals as well as cast iron. It is also ideal for removing discolorations, deposits, and surface defects. Available with backing plates in both angled and straight designs, made from either fiberglass or plastic.
