The abrasive grit made of zirconium oxide-reinforced aluminium oxide and semi-precious aluminium oxide enables the best material removal rates on metal with a long service life. In addition, the extremely robust X-fabric as a stable backing ensures durability and consistently high performance on difficult surfaces. The full synthetic resin bond of the abrasive grains on the X-fabric ensures optimum sanding behaviour. It is designed for deburring and preparing welding work on carbon steel, mild steel, aluminium and other non-ferrous metals as well as cast iron. It is also ideal for removing discolouration, deposits and surface imperfections. Available with backing plates both angled and straight and in both fibreglass and plastic.
