The protective coating, Proteqtion, shields against friction, rust, and hardening, maintaining the outstanding cutting power of the bit for an extended period. Additionally, the shear angle allows for smooth surfaces with minimal need for re-sharpening. The Expert Roundover Bit for Wood is intended for the easy, guided rounding of edges and milling of decorative elements in both soft and hard solid wood, as well as wood composites and special materials like solid surfaces. The ball bearing enables direct guidance on the workpiece without lateral support. By changing the ball bearings, various profiles can also be processed.
