The Enhanced series offers mechanical advantages over the popular, widely used standard versions. Features and benefits include patented drop-lock connections, protection from media ingress to IP66/67, and suitability for Zone 1 and Zone 2, as well as Zone 21 and Zone 22 dust applications. CEAG standard hazardous area plugs mate with hazardous area jacks and couplers, while CEAG hazardous area plugs do not mate with standard jacks and couplers. The plugs only fit extended sockets and extended couplings.
