With a high battery capacity of 216 Wh, they are ideally suited for extremely heavy-duty tasks over extended periods. Thanks to their backward compatibility, these innovative Li-Ion batteries can also be used in nearly all machines from the 18 Volt XR range. They feature effective protection against overload, overheating, and deep discharge through specialized electronics. With a battery capacity of 12 Ah in the 18 Volt configuration, they offer an exceptionally long runtime. Their robust housing and shock-resistant soldered battery cells make them perfectly suitable for tough job site use. The battery is easy to transport, as the cell levels are mechanically separated and the watt-hour output is below the dangerous goods class 9 limit of 100 Wh. A charge status indicator with 3 LEDs allows for easy monitoring of the battery status at the push of a button. The XR FLEXVOLT batteries are compatible with all DeWalt XR battery machines at both 54 and 18 volts (excluding band saw DCS 371 and radios DCR 016, DCR 017, and Tough-Radio).
