The epoxy resin-coated windings provide additional protection for the motor against abrasive dust particles. DeWalt's own Perform & Protect system reliably stops the disc in seconds (<2 seconds) with the electronic brake, enhancing user safety. The electronic clutch automatically shuts off the device in case of blockage, protecting both the user and the machine. Both safety systems effectively minimize the risks associated with kickbacks.
