It features a high-quality chrome vanadium alloy with a center point, two shoulder, and peripheral cutting edges (form B). The design is similar to DIN 7487 and is hardened and center ground. For drill diameters over 11 mm, the shank diameter is reduced to 9.5 mm, with all diameters above 11 mm supplied with the shank turned down to 9.5 mm.

Application examples include use in drilling machines (cordless and corded). It is suitable for drilling hardboard, plywood, chipboard, and natural hard and soft woods, and is particularly effective for drilling dowel holes and through holes.
