The Einhell Battery Charger CE-BC 2 M is an intelligent battery charger with microprocessor control designed for various vehicle battery types. It is adapted to the highly advanced and powerful batteries of today's vehicles and features a range of technical protection and maintenance mechanisms. Operating the charger is simpler than with conventional devices, thanks to a detailed charging display. The Einhell all-rounder is suitable for gel batteries, AGM, as well as maintenance-free and low-maintenance lead-acid batteries. The CE-BC 2 M automatically adjusts to the battery voltage of 12 V vehicles, and the multi-stage charging cycle is automatically monitored and adjusted by the microprocessor control.

The smart control electronics analyze the connected battery and initiate the appropriate steps based on its condition. The maintenance charging function protects and preserves the battery for a consistently ideal charge state. This makes the CE-BC 2 M particularly well-suited for seasonal vehicles with long periods of inactivity: instead of allowing the battery to slowly discharge completely and risk deep discharge, the battery is gently maintained at its optimal level through maintenance charging. A winter charging mode has been developed specifically for outdoor temperatures below 5 degrees Celsius. An automatic overcharge, short circuit, and reverse polarity protection safeguard both the charger and the battery.
