The self-consumption of only a maximum of 0.4 watts of active power is not measured or displayed. The display cyclically alternates every 10 seconds between the accumulated active energy in kWh and the current consumption in kW. The starting current is 20 mA. The display can only be read when powered. However, the consumption is stored non-volatile and is immediately displayed again after a power failure. The digital display has 7 digits. Up to 99999.99 kWh, two decimal places are shown; from 100000.0 kWh, only one decimal place is displayed. The mobile AC power meter is equipped with a mounting bracket for easy installation, which can be easily removed if not needed. Power consumption is indicated by a LED that blinks 2000 times per kWh.
