The outdoor heating system for installation in cast asphalt GSN is designed to keep parking garage ramps, emergency access routes, entrances, etc., free from snow and ice. The GSN heating mat consists of a glass silk armored mesh onto which a dipole heating conductor is sewn. The permissible application temperature is 240 °C for 10 minutes. The glass silk armored mesh prevents the heating conductor from floating up. The sewing technology with an aramid thread guarantees a 100% reliable installation and stability of the heating mat during installation. The mat does not need to be fixed to the subfloor. The optimal asphalt thickness is 2x2 cm and must be applied in two working steps. The heating conductor is resistant to spherical acids and alkalis.
