They are used to close openings in internal walls and ceilings (min. F90, according to DIN 4102-2) through which cables and conduits pass. They prevent the transfer of fire and smoke through these openings for a fire resistance duration of 90 minutes. Building authority approved, approval number Z-19.15-2179.
