The Homematic IP Shutter Actuator – Flush-Mounted is part of the Homematic IP Smart Home system and enables automated control of roller shutters and awnings using all common tubular motors. The small actuator is installed in the flush-mounted box and wired to the existing tubular motor. After commissioning, individual weekly profiles can be defined, also depending on sunrise and sunset. For example, the roller shutter can be raised on weekdays after sunrise, but not before 6:30 AM. Additionally, features such as a lock-out, storm protection, and heat protection can be combined with the Homematic IP app and other components. Once installed, the shading device can be operated via the Homematic IP app, using the Homematic IP remote control, or traditionally with two buttons connected using screwless terminals. With a low standby power consumption of a maximum of 0.2 watts, there is no need to worry about ongoing energy costs.
