Since 1872, Ideal Standard has been one of the leading brands in the sanitary industry. It is a Belgian manufacturer. With a long history of inventing items such as the one-piece bathtub (1902), the ceramic single-lever faucet valve (1969), and the Rimless Infinite toilet system (1979), the manufacturer has continued to surprise the world to this day. Ideal Standard porcelain products are made using high-pressure casting technology, robot-controlled glazing spray, and double firing at temperatures between 1200 °C and 1220 °C. Ideal Standard porcelain characteristics: resistant to temperature fluctuations; does not mold or brown; does not discolor or fade; resistant to acids and alkalis; bending strength of 500 kg/cm²; water absorption of less than 0.5% (fine chamotte ceramics, commonly used by other manufacturers, can have water absorption rates of up to 9%).
