  • Industrial spiral flute for high-precision drilling and fast chip removal.
  • Body made of high-quality steel with titanium nitride coating (TiN). Heat and friction resistant, with up to 6 times the lifespan of conventional metal drills.
  • TiN coating has a hardness of about 80 HRC and is highly wear-resistant.
  • TiN has a low friction coefficient, meaning less force is required and less heat is generated during drilling.
  • Compared to traditional HSS step drills, speed can be increased by 40-60% and feed rate by 10-20% without significantly reducing the drill's lifespan.
  • Titanium nitride is a poor heat conductor, allowing the heat generated during drilling to be dissipated into the chips and coolant rather than into the drill.
