The Smart Energy Meter G2 from Kostal Solar Electric is an advanced energy meter that enables integrated 3-phase energy measurement up to 63 A. By using transformers, it can also capture larger measurement currents. With two LAN and two RS485 interfaces (Modbus RTU), this device offers versatile communication options. Its high measurement accuracy and functionality as a current sensor and energy manager make it ideal for coupling AC batteries. Installation is conveniently done in a control cabinet on a DIN rail, and device configuration can be easily performed via a user-friendly web interface. Additionally, the Smart Energy Meter G2 allows for 24-hour household consumption measurement and offers data visualization capabilities. Software updates and feature expansions are also possible through the web interface, enhancing the device's flexibility and future-proofing.
