The drill bit has been roll-forged and is colored blue-black. It has been steam-treated and features a point angle of 118°. Due to its reduced shank, it is particularly well-suited for use with large diameters in standard drill machines. This drill bit is excellent for alloyed and unalloyed steel, gray cast iron, non-ferrous metals, and hard plastics. For diameters of 10.5 - 16 mm, this drill bit can be used in a drill machine with a maximum chuck diameter of 10 mm.
