To meet the growing demand for DIN rail power supplies, Mean Well has introduced the DRA-40 series (40W). In addition to the standard features of DIN rail power supplies, such as output voltage adjustment, this series also includes output current adjustment. This allows the output current to be set via an external voltage of 1-10V DC, PWM signal, or resistor, providing users with flexibility. The DRA-40 series can be mounted on TS-35 / 7.5 or TS-35/15 DIN rails. It has an input voltage range of 90-264V AC and an output voltage of 12 or 24V DC. Thanks to its high efficiency of up to 87%, the power supplies can operate in ambient temperatures ranging from -30 to +70°C with simple air convection. Additional features include short circuit, overload, and overvoltage protection, as well as a power-on LED indicator. The DRA-40 series is certified according to UL, CUL, CB, TUV, and CE and meets the requirements of IEC60950-1 Limited Power Source (LPS). Suitable applications include machine testing systems and equipment assembly systems with LED light sources.
