The D0 fuse system is used in low-voltage installations where the fuse inserts are accessible to laypersons and can be replaced. It is the most modern screw fuse system designed for 400 VAC/250 VDC. Sizes D01, D02, and D03 make up the D0 system. D0 bases are used together with D0 fuse inserts to protect cables and installations. D0 fuse inserts safely disconnect unauthorized overcurrents and short-circuit currents up to the rated current. They also protect electrical devices and installations from the electrodynamic effects of high short-circuit currents.
