Functional scope:

• Reading of 15-minute meter readings (consumption and feed-in values) from the registers of electronic electricity meters.
• Reading of power values in 1-2 second intervals for the consumption and feed-in side of electronic electricity meters.
• Local intermediate storage of meter readings and power values on the poweropti.
• Use of extensive transparency, comparison, and alarm functions via the powerfox app (iOS and Android).
• Access to all data via the cloud API of the powerfox service (for private customers), e.g., for integration with smart home platforms.

Supported meters and protocols:

• Compatible with meters according to FNN specifications Basic Meter 1.4.1 with data output in the SML protocol and IEC1107.

The following requirements are necessary for the use of the poweropti device:

• Compatible electronic electricity meter with optical customer interface.
• Power outlet for the power supply near the meter.
• Wi-Fi reception with sufficient signal strength near the meter.
• 4-digit PIN from the metering point operator to unlock the electricity meter.
• Space for mounting the poweropti Wi-Fi antenna outside the meter housing.
