I ordered a replacement motor from Hasler in Winterthur for CHF 22 and replaced it myself. The result is a cordless screwdriver that works again.
You only need an M8 screwdriver to install the new motor, the motor is connected with plug-in contacts, so there is no need to solder.
If I were to buy a cordless screwdriver again, I would only buy one with a brushless motor.

Until today, I had no need to hang this part on a belt. It is much too heavy.
That depends on what kind of ceiling you have. If it's a concrete ceiling, probably not. It definitely goes in a plaster ceiling.

The difference lies in the batteries. Here you get 1x2Ah + 1x4Ah. With the other set, it is "only" 2x1.5Ah.

It's hard to say, but it certainly has plenty of power. If it has worked with other drills, I would be confident.
Lighter / softer walls should not be a problem, but the drill does not have an impact or percussion drilling function.

Never tried it but I have some doubts as it is not a typing machine, from memory, and it is my children who use it as a screwdriver. As I am 72 years old and have a few skeletal problems, I am not going to try it... Have a nice day.
