Order numbers 902-6922 and 902-6913 are plastic housings. The RS limit switch series M20 AM F/T features easy-to-use electromechanical limit switches that offer special qualities and specially designed detection devices with features such as presence/absence, positioning and end position, passing objects, and counting. These limit switches are made of zinc alloy (Zamack) and all have IP66 protection or plastic enclosure to IP65.

Visible operation allows for the possibility to change high currents of 10 A conventional thermal current. They feature electrically separated contacts, precise operating points for consistency, and are insensitive to electromagnetic interference. A choice of actuating heads is available, including simple plunger, roller plunger, and roller lever. They have standardized dimensions according to EN 50047 and EN 50041, with metal enclosures according to IP66 and plastic enclosures that are double insulated according to IP65. Limit switches with metal housing are rated IP66, while those with plastic housing are rated IP65.
