The heaters are most commonly used in the plastics industry, but are also suitable for use in applications up to 1000 °F. ; Oxidation resistant high temperature metal shield ; Extra high quality mica insulation provides excellent electrical insulation at high temperatures and is resistant to moisture ; Clamp band is made of low thermal expansion steel to maintain clamping pressure at elevated temperatures ; Nickel/chrome resistance wire, uniformly wound for even heat distribution and reliable accuracy ; 10 inch standard fiberglass conductor.
