Product details

The Acti9 iCV40N VigiARC Active is an AFDD (Arc Fault Detection Device) designed to detect arc faults in combination with an RCD/MCB and is capable of communication. It features 1P+N, a rated current of 10A, and a C-characteristic. The residual current device is a Type A-SI with a sensitivity of 30mA, and the earth fault protection is instantaneous. The rated short-circuit breaking capacity is up to 6000A at 230VAC according to EN/IEC 61009-2-1 and 10kA at 230VAC according to EN/IEC 60947-2. This AFDD, in combination with the RCD/MCB, protects against short circuits, overload currents, electric shock from indirect contact, and fire hazards due to arc faults. The Acti9 iC40 ARC Active communicates with the EcoStruxure Panel Server Entry, Universal, and Advanced gateways. It features differentiated pre-alarm and trip notifications for overload, earth fault, and network overvoltage, as well as measurements of voltage, current, and power. The two unique VisiTrip indicators of the Acti9 iArc reduce intervention time by displaying the tripped circuit and quickly identifying the type of fault. The electrical lifespan is up to 10,000 operations, and the mechanical lifespan is up to 20,000 operations. The rated insulation voltage Ui is 250VAC. Pollution degree 2 (according to EN/IEC60898-1). The product can be snapped onto a DIN rail and has a width of 2 TE. Product color is white (RAL9003). Dimensions are (W) 36mm x (H) 91mm x (D) 73mm. Protection class IP20 (according to IEC/EN 60529) and IP40 when installed in a modular enclosure. This product complies with the standards EN/IEC 62606, EN/IEC 61009-2-1, and EN/IEC 60947-2.
