For use with the Altivar 61/71 series

Altivar ATV61/ATV71 - Encoder interface cards. Encoder interface cards are used for Flux Vector Control operation with a sensor (FVC mode) for asynchronous motors or for Vector Control operation with speed feedback (FSY mode) for synchronous motors. The encoder interface cards enhance the static speed accuracy in asynchronous motors under other control modes (voltage/vector control, voltage/frequency ratio). The interface encoder card is installed in a dedicated slot and is protected against short circuits and overloads.
