With the auxiliary/fault signal switches 5ST3 COM, standard circuit breakers 5SY, 5SP4, and 5SL, as well as residual current devices 5SV3 and FI/LS switches 5SU1/5SV1, can be easily and compactly upgraded with measurement and communication functions. Communication-capable devices can be wirelessly connected to the data transceiver 7KN Powercenter 1000. This collects the measurement values and transmits them for visualization and evaluation to mobile devices, PCs, or higher-level IoT interfaces, which make them available for cloud applications. Transparency and system safety are enhanced.

The data transceiver 7KN Powercenter 1000 collects data for communication and measurement-capable circuit breakers 5SL6 COM, AFDD/LS switches 5SV6 COM, and auxiliary/fault signal switches 5ST3 COM. It communicates wirelessly with up to 24 end devices within a switchgear field or installation distributor. The measurement values are stored in the 7KN Powercenter 1000 for a period of up to 30 days. The data can be retrieved on-site via Bluetooth with a mobile device or forwarded to higher-level systems using Modbus TCP. With the energy monitoring system SENTRON powermanager, for example, energy flows can be visualized and optimized. Through the IoT data platform 7KN Powercenter 3000, the collected data can be directly transmitted to a web server or to cloud applications for evaluation.
