Product details

Circuit breaker size S2 for motor protection with CLASS 20 A release 49...59 A and N release 845 A. Screw connection and standard switching capacity with horizontal auxiliary switch 1S+1Ö. The SIRIUS 3RV2 circuit breaker is designed for motor protection and allows for safe disconnection in case of a short circuit, as well as protecting consumers and systems from overload. It also ensures a safe separation of the system from the network.

The compact and climate-resistant circuit breakers are optimized for use in consumer branches due to their low heat dissipation and are suitable for IE3/IE4 motors as well as for switching direct current. Worldwide approvals (e.g., IEC and UL/CSA) and applications in explosion-hazardous environments (ATEX or IEC Ex) are standard.

Variants for motor protection (also with overload relay function), system protection, short-circuit protection for starter combinations, transformer protection, as main and emergency stop switches, as well as for use in IT networks are available. They come with screw or spring-loaded connections for quick, maintenance-free, and vibration-resistant connections, optionally also with built-in auxiliary switches.

The comprehensive accessories, such as auxiliary switches, auxiliary releases, and signaling switches, are uniform across all sizes. The use of various energy supply options, such as the associated SIRIUS 3RV29 supply system, significantly reduces the main circuit wiring.

The 3RV2 circuit breakers replace the proven 3RV1 series. Simple, efficient, always up to date - the SIRIUS system modular design.
