The specified depth measurements refer to the overall depth for each unit. The Sirius 3RW40 can be integrated into a motor control system that uses other control products from Sirius, such as 3-pole overload relays from the 3RV10 series. It features two phase controls as well as soft starting and stopping of three-phase asynchronous motors with low power loss. The switch-on voltage can be adjusted to 40 to 100% of the operating voltage. It includes integrated bypass contacts, DIN rail mounting, and a compact design. The status indicator, electronic motor overload, and intrinsic device protection are also included. There is adjustable current limitation and optional thermistor motor protection (up to version S3). Integrated remote reset (up to version S3) and auxiliary contacts for "holding" and "start signal" are provided. The holding contact is used for locking when the control is operated with a simple on/off switch, while the start signal can be used to operate other parts of the system, such as a pump. This product is an ideal replacement for direct and star-delta starters.
