They ensure that protective doors, covers, or safety flaps/grilles remain closed as long as a hazardous condition exists. The drive heads in screwless mounting can be rotated 4x90 degrees. There are 5 actuation directions possible, one of which is end-mounted. The switching elements ensure very high contact reliability and can only be actuated with a separately coded actuator that provides increased protection against manipulation. LEDs conveniently indicate the current status of the device. The devices are globally approved (IEC, UL). With the appropriate switch configuration, the highest safety requirements according to PL e or SIL 3 can be met. The devices are available with spring or magnetic locking, in plastic with a latching force of 1300 N or metal with a latching force of 2300 N. A wide range of 3D coded actuators is available for order. Some variants are optionally available with LED status indication. The series 3SF1 with direct connection to the AS-Interface bus system completes the portfolio. The actuator is not included in the delivery of the safety switches and must be ordered separately.
