Nothing can harm a structure as much as penetrating water. To prevent this, not only must the materials used be waterproof, but the fasteners also play a crucial role in a well-thought-out sealing system. The SPAX roofing screw is used where plastic roofing sheets, metal sheets, or connection profiles need to be permanently sealed. Our roofing screw is made of stainless steel and comes with a fitted washer that has an EPDM rubber seal. The latter prevents water from entering the structure through the drill hole in the roofing material. Unlike other products, our sealing washer is a single piece with a diameter of 20 mm. This benefits not only the sealing itself but also the distribution of pressure on often sensitive plastic and metal surfaces.
