Nothing can damage a structure as much as penetrating water. To prevent this, not only must the materials used be waterproof, but the fastening elements also play a crucial role in a well-thought-out sealing system. The SPAX roofing screw is used where plastic roof panels, sheets, or connection profiles need to be securely fastened in a watertight manner. Our roofing screw is made of stainless steel and comes with a fitted washer that has an EPDM sealing rubber. The latter prevents water from entering the structure through the drill hole in the roof surface. Unlike other products, our sealing washer is one piece and has a diameter of 20 mm. This benefits not only the sealing itself but also the pressure distribution on often sensitive plastic and metal surfaces.

Both the screw and the sealing washer are made of stainless steel A2 and withstand direct weather conditions without any issues. In addition to the larger sealing washer, it is primarily our SPAX-specific features that make our SPAX roofing screw so special: these include the T-STAR plus drive and the 4CUT tip, which offer unique processing advantages.
