The robust uvex 2 safety shoe series in protection class S2/S3 is optimized for medium-heavy applications and is aimed at industries such as chemicals, transport and logistics, energy, mechanical engineering, and trade.

Particularly lightweight and flexible, it features a 100% metal-free uvex xenova toe cap of the latest generation, compact design, anatomical shape, good lateral stability, no thermal conductivity, and is non-magnetic. The non-metallic, anti-puncture insole meets the latest standard specifications and does not impair the flexibility of the shoe. Manufactured with new last technology for exceptional wearing comfort, it offers optimized wearer comfort thanks to uvex climazone technology.

The hydrophobic and breathable upper is made of especially soft cowhide leather, providing optimal ventilation with the Distance Mesh lining material. The shoe includes individually adaptable, elastic laces with a quick lock, and standard exchangeable laces are included. The nearly seamless upper construction helps avoid pressure points.

It features a removable comfort footbed that is antistatic, with a moisture transport system and additional heel and forefoot cushioning. The soft padded collar and padded dust flap enhance comfort. The two-layer sole consists of a lightweight and highly shock-absorbing midsole and a very good anti-slip outsole, free of substances that interfere with lacquer wetting, such as silicones and softeners. An injection-moulded polyurethane overcap protects the upper leather over the toe cap for significantly longer service life. The shoe meets ESD requirements for leakage resistance.
