2-channel analog input 4-20 mA HART. The analog input module is designed to power the field-mounted transmitters and to transmit analog measurement signals galvanically isolated to the bus system. The supply voltage of 24 V is fed through the power contacts for the field. The shield connection is directly routed to the mounting rail. The overload protection switches the measurement input to a high-resistance state at a current of approximately 25 mA. The high-resistance state is automatically reset when returning to the normal measurement range. This module provides the power supply for 2-wire transmitters that do not have their own power supply. Up to 4 HART secondary variables (PV, SV, TV, QV) can be integrated into the cyclic process image of the coupler or controller per channel (configurable). For HART communication with connected intelligent HART field devices, the HART protocol can be integrated into the cyclic process image of the coupler or controller (configurable). For some programmable couplers, FDT/DTM device drivers are available, allowing HART tool routing to the connected HART device.
