Motor control unit (MCU) for controlling two motors via the sun protection central unit. The motor control unit can simultaneously connect two drives. For local operation, a separate button can also be connected to each motor output. The motor control unit operates via separate control and power loop lines. The safety low voltage is generated within the motor control unit itself. An external power supply is not necessary. Different programs for sun protection products with and without slats can be set. A local drive command is saved after two seconds or immediately, depending on the programming. In the case of a central command, this drive command is deleted, and local operation is blocked. To ensure the possibility of passage, there is a separate input on the motor control unit for connecting a locking contact, such as a window contact. All connection terminals are designed as screw terminals for secure mounting. The device allows switching between logic behavior, time logic, or permanent logic via a coding switch. Additionally, the housing is halogen-free and meets the UL-94 V0 testing standard. The housing complies with the standard for installation devices according to DIN 43880. A replaceable fuse is available for the motor output to protect the motor line. The motor control unit has a size of 4TE.
